WHY

Finally figured out why my posts were showing up on my pages, and fixed it. It was an extra div code which apparently broke the layout. So, that's good... only now I'm having some weird date issue on my posts. @_@ The first post on my blog doesn't have the date, just the time. I don't know if it's just that first post screwing up, or if the date is only showing up on the new posts or what but that's the purpose of this one. To test it.

Okay, so this post is really just because I need a second one to see if it's still showing up on my pages, but I figured I might as well make use of it rather than just creating a filler post. So.
Completed Tasks
- implementing comment below post system
- adding the 'followers/join site' widget, thanks to this tutorial: Add Google Friend Connect
- installing share buttons below each post, though I might change them again
- editing appearance: labels, text shadows, changing fonts, comment appearance, etc.
Current Tasks
- figuring out why my main div content is showing up on my page divs (i.e. blog posts showing on pages when they never used to)
- (once I figure that out) creating more pages and filling in my content
- (if I have the patience, LOL) figure out why my comments are indenting... seriously the comment system was way more trouble than it's probably worth, ugh

Under Construction

To those who have somehow stumbled across this blog: for the time being, it's still under construction so there really isn't much to be seen here except the occasional code break that makes the layout go haywire, and of course the slow addition of content, widgets, etc. There will probably be test posts and pages that will be deleted when the time comes for this blog to officially go live.
I absolutely adore this layout, which is the only reason why I'm investing so much time into editing it instead of just making my own (which suddenly doesn't seem so impossible after playing with the coding of this one for a few days, haha). And ah, I guess that's it. I really just needed some kind of post to see how it'll look on the main page, and I wanted to make it longer for the same reason. xP

Animanga Asylum is an anime/manga fan blog I decided to create for purpose of discussing, reviewing, and recommending various series that I've enjoyed. I'll post when updates are out for the series I follow, link to where you can find them, etc. And I won't lie - a big part of the reason behind the creation of this blog was so I could have an easy spot to keep track of all my series and links xD
